Brewed a 12 gallon batch to top off the Homebrew club barrel after the first pull. This portion would be prefermented with WLP 644 so I wanted to leave a lot of residual sugar by mashing really high (targeted 165). one of my temp probe cables is damaged and gave a false reading and I ended up mashing at 170. After one week gravity was 1.030 and I racked it into the barrel. |
